“User Content” intellectual property terms

All materials submitted will be saved in UDL’s database. As a result, UDL will retain all rights to disseminate this content for promotional purposes. By submitting a work, UDL will be granted permission to use the content for the publication in both print and digital forms, with attribution to the owner(s). UDL has the right to make changes to the provided files and information, in order to better adapt it to any book/ magazine/ digital format.

Refunds and Cancellations

By registering or participating in any Competition/ Awards/ workshops you confirm that you have read and agree to all of the terms, conditions, and restrictions set forth in the prescribed rules and regulations mentioned in the brief/form. UDL team and its staff has the right to cancel any event under its absolute discretion. Participants who have already registered for the event will get an email notification, and their costs will be refunded within 30 days. Events with less than 20 participants will be immediately terminated. In any other case, after the registration is complete, the money will not be reimbursed.

Apart from that communication via social media or any other means to the juries addressing the competition/ event, and subsequent identification by one of the team members or the registration code, will result in automatic disqualification.

Taxes and Prizes

You are solely responsible for paying all federal and other taxes in accordance with your state, province, and/or country of residence’s laws. To obtain your Prize, you will need to give precise information regarding the same. UDL retains the right to refuse any prizes if you do not comply or withhold information.

The information on the Site holds no factual guarantee, condition, or warranty, and its accuracy is at the owner’s risk. However, In case of request for the removal of any content from either the website or social media platforms, mail us the detailed information in relation to the project/work with an attached link for the content to be removed. UDL does not warrant or represent that the site or its servers are free of viruses or other harmful components. To detect and disinfect viruses from any download/activity, you should use industry-recognized software.

Termination

Regardless of these site terms, UDL maintains the right to cancel your licence to use the Site and to prohibit or restrict your future access to the Site without notice and at its sole discretion.
