Urban Mapping Masterclass
The Urban Mapping Masterclass is a two-day live online workshop designed to help students and professionals create clear, accurate, and presentation-ready urban maps using Google Earth, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Through guided exercises, participants will develop eight essential map types covering urban context, landscape, public activity, land use, mobility, figure-ground relationships, and built-form density. The masterclass strengthens analytical thinking, software coordination, and graphic communication for studio projects, portfolios, research, competitions, and professional practice. Participants will also gain a reusable workflow for transforming raw spatial information into compelling urban narratives.
