Introduction

The live masterclass, spanning over 5 hours, introduces a practical urban mapping workflow that helps students and professionals understand, analyse, and communicate cities with clarity. Participants will learn to transform satellite imagery and spatial observations into accurate, visually compelling maps for studios, research, portfolios, competitions, and professional projects. By strengthening analytical thinking, graphic communication, and software coordination, the masterclass enables participants to present urban ideas confidently and produce work that stands out.

  • Apply textures and overlays

D. Activity and Public-Realm Map

  • Identify public activity zones
  • Show active edges and movement

  • Classify urban functions

Session Duration

The Masterclass, including interactive Q&A sessions, runs for approximately 2.5 hours each day.

Language & Platform

The masterclass sessions will be conducted in English and held online via Google Meet on both the days.
