Skills and Qualifications

• A relevant university degree obtained within the last twelve months.
• Post-graduate qualification in Airport Planning, Airport Management, or Engineering is an asset.
• Aptitude in desktop research and basic understanding of airport terminology and regulation (preferred).
• Ability to manage multi-stakeholder projects.
• Excellent communication skills; confidence working with senior-level stakeholders.
• Ability to make clear presentations and prepare technical reports.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Excel and modelling skills (asset).
• Fluent in English.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; self-motivated.

ExperienceNot mandatory; recent graduates or early-career professionals are encouraged to apply.
SalaryNot specified (IATA internships vary by office; assumed unpaid/ stipend-unlisted).

Job Description

• Support coordination of the Airport Development Reference Manual (ADRM) with internal and external stakeholders, including airport planners and engineering firms.
• Assist in coordination and administration of the ADRM “Think Tank” Working Groups.
• Support benchmarking, data collection, program tracking, and working group alignment.
• Attend ADRM meetings, record minutes, and track action items.
• Assist research and implementation activities for:
• DIPIP (biometrics-enabled terminal operations)
• Airport Service Quality Framework research
• Conditions of Use (CoU) analysis
• Airport capacity research (runways, terminals, congestion points)
• Support airport development guidance and advocacy activities.
• Assist airport workshops, planning tasks, and administrative coordination.
