Skills and Qualifications

• Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in urban planning, geography, culture-related field, international relations, economics, information science, or management.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in project management, cultural resource management, or international cooperation.
• Drafting and communication skills to prepare communication material, speeches, and briefings.
• Strong interpersonal skills, tact, and diplomacy for engaging with various partners globally.
• Good analytical skills, IT proficiency, and adaptability to a multicultural environment.
• Excellent knowledge of English and/or French with a good understanding of the other language.

Experience Minimum of 2 years in project management or cultural resource management.
SalaryAs per industry norms.

The Associate Project Officer will support the coordination and implementation of the UNESCO Culture|2030 Indicators framework, which measures culture’s contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Job Description

The Associate Project Officer will assist in coordinating the UNESCO Culture|2030 Indicators, including liaising with experts, partners, and national/local implementation teams. The role involves organizing workshops, managing project administration, and contributing to project monitoring, reporting, and the development of capacity-building materials.
