• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Climate Studies, Atmospheric Science, GIS, or related fields
• 0-3 years of work experience (final semester students can apply)
• Proficiency in Python, Jupyter Notebook, ArcGIS, QGIS, and Google Earth Engine
• Knowledge of climate data analysis, climatological projections, and geospatial technology
• Experience with big climate and geospatial data (NetCDF, raster, vector formats)
• Strong understanding of climate risk assessments and data mining

Experience0-3 years in climate data analysis or related fields
SalaryAs per industry norms.

Job Description

• Conduct geospatial modeling for developing climate risk indices, such as urban heat islands and water/green cover mapping
• Use Python, ArcGIS, and Google Earth Engine for data analysis and visualization
• Work on CMIP5/6-based climate projections, perform data mining, and develop climate risk assessments
• Support the development of the Climate Resilience Atlas for India
• Contribute to literature reviews, research writing, and preparation of GIS-based maps
