The mission of the Department of Toxic Substances Control is to protect California’s people and environment from harmful effects of toxic substances by restoring contaminated resources, enforcing hazardous waste laws, reducing hazardous waste generation and encouraging the manufacture of chemically safer products.

Job Description

What You’ll Do
Plan, develop, and oversee the implementation of DTSC’s CVCI workforce development
Establish regional training and career building resource partnerships within regions identified as vulnerable communities
Coordinate internal and external communications with all interested parties and stakeholders
Manage the coordination between the department, training partner, employment centers, and contractors to ensure effective programmatic execution
Develop and maintain good working relationships with DTSC staff and external stakeholders to promote an environment of integrity and transparency
