Skills and Qualifications

• Education or interest in transportation, green mobility, low carbon technology, or environmental research
• Experience in research, policy analysis, and data interpretation
• Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English (spoken and written)
• Legally eligible to work in Indonesia
• Able to work from Bali and travel within Indonesia if required
• Proactive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent organizational skills

ExperienceInternship or project-level research experience preferred; recent graduates or final-year students encouraged to apply
SalaryPaid internship with standard stipend Includes domestic/international travel insurance (as per assignment)

Job Description

The Green Mobility Research Intern will assist WRI Indonesia’s team on research, analysis, and stakeholder engagement for the Bali Transportation Decarbonization Initiative. Responsibilities include:

Conducting desk research and policy analysis

Supporting data collection on transport emissions, low carbon technologies, and mobility trends

Assisting in planning and documentation of stakeholder meetings

Contributing to project reports, presentations, and knowledge products

Supporting development of Bali’s Low Emission Zone (LEZ) strategy

Engaging with local and national government bodies, NGOs, and transport experts

Supporting the Bali Net Zero Emission Coalition Secretariat
