Skills and Qualifications

Must have strong research skills – capability to carry out literature review is a key requisite, familiarity with research methods
Familiarity with public policy research techniques and tools
Experience in dealing with stakeholders (industry, academic, government etc.) preferred
Ability to develop transport pilots, and low emission zone plans is desirable
Carrying out data analysis on programmes such as Excel, Python, R, STATA are desirable
Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to work on multi-disciplinary projects

ExperienceBachelor’s or Master’s degree with specialisation in urban/regional planning, urban management, transport planning, civil engineering, energy, public policy, economics and related fields Candidates with prior experience in business model and pilots for electric mobility are desirable Interest in the transport and EV sector in India Strong communication and writing skills

Job Description

Carry out techno-economic analysis, strategies, business cases for electrification of particular fleet
To gauge mobility trends at a macro (country, state level) and characterise past and on-going developments
To analyse existing policies and technologies to propose solutions that are technically and commercially sound for on ground implementation.
To assist in development and execution of primary surveys. This would involve questionnaire design, training of enumerators, and survey monitoring
Developing connectivity and feeder plans for fleets
Interact with stakeholder from the local government, professionals, academia in the sector
Analysis of vehicles and operations characteristics
Assist the team in generating snackable insights and compelling data visuals for the social media platforms
Carry out relevant literature reviews, summarize findings as reports
Impact analysis of EV to understand job creation, skill development, economic and environmental impacts Assist with specific projects and overall plan of activities under public transport, electric vehicle transition, and other sustainable mobility research, bridging teams research.
Assist with project implementation, including help with preparing presentations, factsheets and other communication material.
Assist administrative team for organization of relevant capacity building, discussions and launch events (whenever needed)
