PhD or equivalent in Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Transportation, or a related field

1–2 years of postdoctoral research experience

Experience in behavioural data collection (questionnaires, focus groups, apps)

ExperienceMinimum 1–2 years postdoctoral research experience in relevant domains
Salary€46,305 (IUA Research Fellow scale; not higher than point 2)

Job Description

The role involves conducting a 36-month research project focused on shared micromobility in urban workplaces in Dublin and Limerick. Key activities include:

Managing and conducting research on a bike library intervention

Quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis

Using GPS and app data to assess micromobility routes and user behavior

Developing policy recommendations and stakeholder engagement strategies

Publishing research and participating in outreach events
