Skills and Qualifications

• Degree in Town Planning or relevant field
• Postgraduate qualification in Urban Planning preferred
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
• UK or international planning experience preferred
• Knowledge of UK Town Planning legislation including Town and Country Planning Act 1990, Planning Act 2008, Transport and Works Act Order
• Understanding of Environmental Impact Assessment
• Experience in infrastructure planning and consenting
• Project management experience with budget control
• Strong report writing and data analysis skills
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Desirable: ArcGIS and AutoCAD proficiency
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills
• Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams and across geographies

ExperienceMinimum 4 years experience in Town Planning, preferably with UK, Australia or similar international exposure
SalaryAs per industry standards

Job Description

• Provide consenting inputs for major infrastructure projects including DCOs, DNSs and TWAOs
• Coordinate preparation and submission of consent applications under UK planning regimes
• Work closely with UK Infrastructure Planning teams from India offices
• Conduct desk studies, research, data management and report writing
• Manage projects with effective budget control
• Support business development including bid preparation
• Coordinate across planning, land and environmental teams
• Maintain clear communication with India and UK teams
• Support training and development of team members
• Ensure compliance with company Health and Safety policies
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and capability building
