Skills and Qualifications

Education:
• Advanced university degree in disciplines related to policy design, international development, and inclusion
• Additional desirable: Master’s in policy or international development

Work Experience:
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in policy and inclusion (preferably 2 at international level)
• Proven experience in comparative research (quantitative & qualitative)
• Experience with multilateral cooperation and coordination
• Familiarity with UNESCO’s cultural conventions and UN systems preferred

Skills & Competencies:
• Excellent analytical, research, and drafting skills
• Strong communication (English and Spanish)
• Ability to coordinate expert groups, high-level working groups, and stakeholders
• Experience in publication processes, policy writing, and strategic programming
• Competence in MS Office, data tools, virtual meeting platforms
• Strong organizational and deadline management abilities
• Able to work independently in multicultural settings

Languages:
• Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken)
• Additional UNESCO languages desirable

Job Description

The consultant will support the preparation and implementation of the MONDIACULT 2025 Conference, focusing on knowledge production, stakeholder coordination, and programme design. Specific responsibilities include:
• Drafting content for conference priority areas
• Supporting the Culture for Peace and AI expert groups
• Producing documents, data analyses, and communication materials
• Coordinating with stakeholders, youth and artist initiatives
• Managing digital library content and side event programming
• Delivering detailed progress and final reports
