Skills and Qualifications

Education:
• Master’s degree in Transport Planning, Transport Engineering, Urban Planning, Public Policy, or related fields
• 0–2 years of professional experience (entry-level role)

Skills Required:
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with Excel (Advanced), Power BI, or data tools like R, Python, Stata is a plus
• Familiarity with freight transport or electric mobility is advantageous
• Ability to synthesize complex data, create clear visuals, and present ideas concisely
• Comfortable with stakeholder coordination, survey design, and documentation

Experience0–2 years (fresh graduates with relevant skills encouraged)
SalaryINR 7,50,000 to INR 9,40,000 CTC (commensurate with skills and experience)

Job Description

The selected Junior Program Associate will support WRI India’s work on decarbonizing freight transport through:

• Research on electric medium/heavy-duty trucks (e-MHDTs), charging infra, and policy trends
• Feasibility and financing analysis for freight electrification
• Supporting data collection, surveys, stakeholder meetings, and report development
• Producing research briefs, reports, and communication material
• Engaging with partners to gather insights and contribute to collaborative strategies
