Cologne and its neighbours on the right bank of the Rhine

Funded by the “StadtUmland.NRW” initiative of the MBWSV, the cooperation “Cologne and neighbours on the right bank of the Rhine” aims at a future concept for the dynamically growing interdependence area and intensive inter-municipal cooperation. It is about the development of a sustainable spatial framework, the identification of potential spaces and development corridors, associated packages of measures and finally about communicable spatial images.

Finding 1: Suburbia becomes city

Findings 2: The region continues to grow

Findings 3: Traffic as a key

Findings 4: Places of Identity: Cores, Mains and Landscapes
