Job Description

• To develop India Sustainability & CSR strategy, targets and roadmap including convergence to Alstom in Motion 2025 targets, and carbon neutrality roadmap integrating Corporate targets and developing specific ones for India
• To secure support and validation from the country Leadership Team for Sustainability & CSR activities and establish Sustainability & CSR Steering committee
• To establish, utilize and manage the Sustainability & CSR budget for all Alstom India legal entities
• To coordinate deployment of Sustainability & CSR with Region/Country/cluster contributors (EHS, HR, Innovation, Operations, Legal, procurement), monitor convergence to targets and report progress
• To develop and manage all Sustainability and CSR activities (ex: strategic programs like social impact studies, CSR label, partnerships with NGOs, deployment of human rights program, environmental targets, local development)
• To define the priorities, and strategic orientation of the local community action plan in India in line with global Community Investment Policy, develop and maintain the action plan with support of a local network
• To manage the employee volunteering programme
• To promote and communicate, with Communications team support, CSR initiatives & good practices (including those of the Foundation) and leverage Sustainability & CSR for branding and enhanced visibility
• To provide support to tenders and business development on Sustainability& CSR-related topics
• To develop key messages for advocacy and represent the company in organizations and conferences for Sustainability& CSR-related topics
• To develop collaboration with customers in the field of sustainable mobility and sustainability,
• To identify and develop innovative solutions for environmental and social transformation of the company
• To manage all compliances together with the Legal team
• To manage compliance with local laws in terms of human rights and contribute to organization of Contractor CSR audits as might be needed
• To develop stakeholders dialog, assessment of sustainability priorities and deployment of CSR label when/where relevant
• To grow and develop country Champions network (CSR knowledge & maturity) acting as the central point of contact for the region/country/cluster on Sustainability & CSR-related topics, answering questions and giving support
• To support the annual reporting processes for data collection for corporate and country reporting and ensure compliance to local laws on non-financial reporting
