Organisation Details
UCEM is the UK’s leading specialist university for the built environment. In May 2025, it merged with The London School of Architecture (LSA), a progressive and design-forward institution. From June 2025, UCEM will be renamed the University of the Built Environment, while the LSA retains its identity and name. The merged entity aims to widen access to architectural education while expanding interdisciplinary teaching and research across the construction industry.
Job Description
The Head of School will provide visionary leadership to the London School of Architecture as it enters a new chapter within UCEM. Responsibilities include managing the successful delivery and expansion of the MArch programme, developing a rolling strategic plan, driving innovation in architectural education, resourcing and budgeting, and engaging with both the academic and professional architecture communities. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the future of architectural education and influence the broader built environment landscape.
