1. 3-6 years of experience in a U.S. architecture office (post-graduation).
2. Experience with multifamily housing and construction administration preferred.
3. Advanced proficiency in Revit in a professional office environment.
4. Strong familiarity with California Building Code and various project types.
5. Must have experience in preparing construction documents and knowledge of BIM standards.
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills, diligence, and attention to detail.
7. An architectural degree from an accredited school is required; licensure is not necessary but progress towards it is a plus

OpenScope Studio is a small firm of 14 people based in California, working on a variety of projects such as multifamily housing, airport construction, and commercial tenant improvements. The firm operates on a hybrid work model with a mix of office work in Potrero Hill and remote work.

Job Description

1. Assist in the design and preparation of 2D and 3D project layouts and construction drawings using Revit.
2. Manage day-to-day project management tasks using digital tools like spreadsheets and Asana.
3. Perform construction administration tasks and lead smaller projects.
4. Conduct site visits around the Bay Area for information gathering and construction administration.
5. Adhere to BIM standards and support the design team.
