Skills and Qualifications

Final-year student or recent graduate (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD) in a relevant field
Good knowledge of MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Teams (survey/poll design, event organization, drafting news/social media posts is desirable)
Understanding of environmental and energy issues in the context of sustainable development
Fluency in English (knowledge of another official UN language is an advantage)

ExperienceNo professional work experience required, but relevant academic background is essential

Organisation Details

UN ESCAP Subregional Office for East and North-East Asia (SRO-ENEA), located in Songdo, Incheon Internship is full-time (5 days a week / 40 hours), for a minimum of 3 months and up to 6 months Focus on supporting NEASPEC’s work on MPA and Low Carbon Cities

Job Description

Conduct desk research on MPA topics, assist with drafting and copy editing of study reports
Support preparation of a Low Carbon Cities booklet
Provide logistical support for meetings and events
Attend and summarize meeting proceedings
Engage in varied tasks under supervision to further NEASPEC objectives
