• Lead on day-to-day operations of the UrbanShift including organizing processes, meetings and tracking systems to record progress on various fronts and facilitating in some of the meetings, internally and with partners
• Recruit and supervise interns for the UrbanShift Program acting as a coach and mentor
• Prepare standard project status reports for project delivery team, work group or management
• Design, collect and train partners on the project's M&E system and monitor program/project performance against contract requirements using DevResults
• Lead on the organization of independent Peer-to Peer Exchanges for the Program
• Participate and contribute, as part of the project team, on activities in UrbanShift at global, regional, and local events
• Lead on implementation and mainstreaming of gender in Global and Child Projects, including the gender task force, ensuring that the project's gender action plan is mainstreamed in project components, outcomes, outputs and activities
• Support production of annual reports
• Conduct substantive research including literature reviews, qualitative or quantitative analysis, and other research products on the implementation of sustainable integrated urban planning in cities
• Collaborate with the working group on the design and implementation of UrbanShift Labs and Geospatial Baseline
• Collaborate with Strategic Urban Planner on the development of the City Academy Module on Strategic Urban Planning
• Engage with external stakeholders about potential synergies with UrbanShift as needed
• Author blog posts and other communication documents in collaboration with Communication Lead
• Present at internal/external meetings
• Collaborate with colleagues on fundraising efforts, including drafting proposals, coordinating with partners and funders
• Review knowledge products written by other WRI researchers
