Description

The Next House: USA is an international architectural competition challenging designers to redefine the American suburban home for a standard family (2 adults + 1 child). The proposed home must not exceed 1,500 sq ft and should be replicable across diverse U.S. climates. Emphasis is placed on sustainability, affordability, adaptability, and community impact. The competition encourages professionals and students alike to explore what “home” should mean in the context of today’s economic, environmental, and cultural realities.

Eligibility

Open to all—students, professionals, architects, designers, artists, creatives from any background. No professional qualifications required.
