Description
The ULI Hines Student Competition offers graduate or fourth-year undergraduate students the opportunity to form multidisciplinary teams and develop a proposal for a real, large-scale urban site. Teams provide designs, narratives, and market-feasible financial data. The competition encourages responsible land use and community development. It’s a conceptual competition, with no expectation to implement the proposals.
Eligibility
Open to graduate and fourth-year undergraduate students around the world, with teams of five students representing at least two different disciplines.
Important dates
Competition: January 6-20, 2025
Finalists Announced: By February 20, 2025
Finalist Site Visit: March 13, 2025
Final Presentations and Winner Selected: April 3, 2025

Registration for the 2025 competition closes on November 20, 2024.

Prizes
Winning team: $35,000
Finalist teams: $10,000 each
Honorable mention teams: $10,000 total
