Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Spatial Planning or related field
• Equivalent professional experience in urban or spatial planning acceptable
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is an advantage
• Strong communication skills in Dutch (written and verbal); English is a plus
• Ability to work independently with a proactive approach
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Valid driving license (Category B)

Experience

• Experience in spatial planning, land management, or infrastructure-related planning
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in the Netherlands and Belgium preferred
• Experience in handling permits, easements, and land-related legal documentation is advantageous
• Exposure to infrastructure or pipeline-related planning contexts preferred

Petrochemical Pipeline Services (PPS) is a subsidiary of SABIC and operates extensive petrochemical pipeline networks across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. The organization manages both owned and third-party pipelines, ensuring safe and efficient transport while maintaining environmental compliance and infrastructure integrity.

Job Description

• Monitor government and development plans in the Netherlands and Belgium to identify potential threats to pipeline infrastructure
• Maintain and update legal records including permits, easements, and land documentation
• Manage notarial and cadastral matters related to pipeline routes
• Update and assess Quantitative Risk Assessments (QRA) and external safety standards
• Provide and manage spatial and planning-related information through official platforms and databases
• Prepare reports on planning-related risks and pipeline damage
• Participate in project meetings and site visits across the Netherlands and Belgium
• Coordinate with government authorities regarding permitting processes and infrastructure developments
• Communicate with landowners, users, and contractors regarding pipeline activities
• Process and manage geographic and planning data within spatial systems
