Skills and Qualifications

1. Category 1 (EYSED Technical): Background in low carbon and climate-resilient technologies, climate change mitigation/adaptation, development studies, climate finance, economics, international relations, or business administration.
2. Category 2 (EYSED Communication and Graphic Design): Background in journalism, graphic design, communications, marketing, business administration, management, development studies, economics, international relations, or climate change.
3. Demonstrated interest in sustainable energy and regional cooperation.
4. Excellent written, oral communication, and analytical skills.
5. Proficiency in English (Arabic/French is a plus).
6. Minimum age: 20 years.

ExperienceFresh graduates or early professionals with a strong interest in sustainable energy.
SalaryMonthly stipend to cover living expenses in Cairo.

Organisation Details

The Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE) is an intergovernmental organization with diplomatic status, serving as the technical arm of the League of Arab States – Energy Department and the Arab Ministerial Council for Electricity (AMCE). RCREEE promotes renewable energy and energy efficiency in Arab countries and collaborates with governments, international organizations, and the private sector.

Job Description

1. Orientation & Capacity Building: Introduction to RCREEE’s vision, mission, and organizational structure, along with technical orientation on sustainable energy practices.
2. Project Participation: Work on ongoing regional projects, participate in GN-SEC initiatives, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
3. Knowledge Management: Contribute to RCREEE communication and knowledge management activities, documenting events, drafting meeting minutes, and supporting press releases and social media campaigns.
4. Mentorship: Receive guidance from assigned mentors and program coordinators, fostering professional growth and expertise in sustainable energy.
