Skills and Qualifications

• Ph.D. (or equivalent) in geoinformatics, climate/environmental sciences, data/computer sciences, engineering, or related fields
• At least three (3) years of post-master’s degree work experience in geospatial analytics or climate data analysis
• Experience in environmental informatics, data visualization, and AI applications in climate and environmental management
• Strong knowledge in climate modeling, geospatial data analysis, machine learning, and AI
• Ability to conduct numerical analysis of complex datasets
• Excellent writing, research, presentation, and networking skills
• Familiarity with policy-oriented research, project management, and interdisciplinary approaches
• Experience in developing training courses, online learning platforms, and fundraising is an asset

Experience3 years of post-master’s degree work experience in geospatial analytics and climate data analysis
SalaryAs per industry norms.

Job Description

• Analyze and visualize climate and environmental data focusing on extreme events, environmental changes, and climate risks
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop decision-making tools and interactive visualizations
• Support online learning initiatives and capacity building for water, environment, and health professionals
