Urban planning is a vital field that shapes the cities of tomorrow, focusing on the development and design of land use and the built environment, including air, water, and the infrastructure passing into and out of urban areas. As the demand for skilled urban planners grows, so does the need for financial support to educate these future professionals. Here’s a comprehensive list of scholarships available in 2024 for students pursuing degrees in urban planning or related fields.
Objectives of Urban Planning Scholarships
The primary goal of introducing the Urban Planning Scholarships is to create a centralized or unified platform through which students aspiring to pursue or continue their education in urban planning can easily register online for one of the 19 available scholarships. This initiative enables students to seamlessly access and apply for scholarships online, thereby facilitating their educational journey in the field of urban planning.
Another key aim of the Urban Planning Scholarships is to cater to the needs of international students interested in urban planning courses. These scholarships are designed to offer varying levels of support tailored to the specific needs and circumstances of each student, depending on the scholarship scheme they select. This approach not only democratizes access to education in urban planning but also promotes a diverse and inclusive academic environment.
