A subject expert on all matters associated with planning and heritage within a major infrastructure context, with demonstrated experience in providing sound technical advice and achieving positive outcomes
Proactive in engaging a broad range of stakeholders to form a deep understanding of project requirements and drive solutions that are to the highest ethical and safety standards
Able to form effective and constructive relationships with external parties such as government departments and heritage authorities to influence timely solutions
Planning experience working in either local or State Government would be highly regarded

Organisation Details

The North East Link Project will connect the missing link in Melbourne’s freeway network, while increasing the capacity of the Eastern Freeway. It will slash travel times, get trucks off local roads and link key growth areas in the north and south-east.

Job Description

Leading the approvals process for North East Link to deliver its works program.
Identifying risks and opportunities as they relate to planning and heritage through your significant knowledge of planning schemes and relevant legislation
Embedding yourself as a subject matter expert in our multi-disciplinary project teams and forming strong relationships with all stakeholders to drive excellent results
The Project Wide role will be based at 121 Exhibition Street (with short periods of time at other offices) while the Central package role will ultimately be based at a site office, (Bulleen, Heidelberg or Watsonia.)
