Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

1. A degree (or equivalent) in Town Planning or relevant environmental discipline
2. Membership of the RTPI (or other relevant organisation such as IEMA)
3. Demonstrable experience in the UK of planning and EIA for infrastructure developments
4. A full driving licence

ExperienceMinimum 3 years of experience post Masters or minimum 5 years of experience post Bachelors is required.

Job Description

The role will involve:
1. Working as part of multidisciplinary teams to deliver inputs across all project lifecycles from early strategy development, through feasibility/optioneering to detailed design and assessment
2. Interface with the wider project stakeholders including the client’s engineering team, consultation leads, lawyers etc
3. Authoring supporting documents for pre-application discussions, planning applications and EIA deliverables
4. Representing the business and its clients to key stakeholders, local authorities, regulators and industry as required
5. Providing clients with the appropriate technical and consenting advice for their projects
