Organisation Details
UN-Habitat’s Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean (ROLAC), based in Rio de Janeiro, works with all tiers of government and civil society to promote sustainable and inclusive urban development. The Brazil office supports initiatives aligned with the New Urban Agenda and Sustainable Development Goals, especially in vulnerable informal settlements such as Izidora in Belo Horizonte.
Job Description
The consultant will contribute to the implementation of the Izidora project by producing technical analyses, 3D designs, architectural evaluations, compatibility reviews, and landscape assessments. Responsibilities include working with interdisciplinary teams, reviewing and proposing modifications to urban and housing plans, and ensuring outputs meet UN-Habitat’s standards. The consultant will produce six key deliverables over the contract duration and support technical coordination, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration.
