Job Description
As a Senior Urban Designer, you will:
• Lead urban design initiatives for neighborhoods and borough-wide strategies
• Review development proposals for zoning and design compliance
• Mentor and supervise junior urban design staff
• Prepare high-quality visual materials and reports for public and agency use
• Advise senior leadership on best practices in design, resiliency, and sustainability
• Represent DCP in presentations to the City Planning Commission, community boards, and public forums
• Collaborate with central divisions and sister city agencies on land use and infrastructure plans
• Participate in planning studies and contribute to coastal resiliency, housing typologies, infill development, and more
