AECOM is looking for a highly experienced Urban Designer to undertake a Professional position to join our Urbanism + Planning team based in Riyadh, KSA office. Our team includes urban designers, planners and landscape architects working on urban and landscape master plans through to major transformative city and regional strategies. The selected Urban Designer is essential to support the team to deliver different Master Plan scales using Parametric/BIM tools (i.e. Revit, Grasshopper), the selected Urban Designer should have proven record of minimal 6 years of post-graduate experience in similar practice line (i.e. Urban Design, Urban Planning, Architecture). • Responsible for initiating and developing engineering drawings through completion for assigned projects in conformance with the requirements, applicable codes, and design criteria established by the project’s discipline engineers. • Under direct supervision, completes design assignments of moderate complexity. • Applies an intermediate level of understanding within a specific discipline. • Familiar with codes, permits, and software applications related to the discipline. • Familiar with the process of preparing designs and drawings using project specifications and discipline-associated written and verbal instructions in accordance with established design practices, standards, and procedures. • Understands the purpose of vendor documents and uses them as a reference for assigned tasks. • Basic knowledge of the use of requisitions and the role of materials management. • Basic knowledge of the process of performing material take-offs for the discipline. • Basic understanding of the discipline’s equipment and material lists.
