• Advanced university degree in energy policy, finance, engineering, environmental sciences, environmental law, architecture, urban planning, economics, or related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in environment/development with a focus on energy, environment policy, and finance.
• Proficiency in project management supporting national/local government capacity and investment.
• Experience with the United Nations or similar international organizations preferred.
• Two years or more of experience in data analytics desirable.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of another UN language is desirable.

Job Description

• Supports the development, implementation, and evaluation of projects on sustainable cooling and building materials under UNEP’s frameworks.
• Prepares draft work plans and budgets, monitors project progress, and liaises with technical partners to ensure coordination.
• Conducts policy research, analysis, and prepares reports, background papers, and presentations.
• Participates in meetings, workshops, and outreach activities on sustainable cooling and buildings.
• Contributes to the Cool Coalition and Global Alliance for Buildings and Construction initiatives.
