• Significant work experience in India, particularly work in partnership with the Government of India and/or work in the Central Indian Landscape, is preferred.

World Wildlife Fund (WWF), one of the world’s leading conservation organizations, seeks a Chief of Party, India Conservation and Landscape Management Project.

Job Description

WWF is seeking candidates for a Chief of Party (COP) for a USG-funded proposal on conservation and landscape management in India. This 5-year program, anticipated to start in early 2023, aims to improve management of protected areas and their corridors for wildlife conservation, improve inclusive livelihoods from ecosystem services, and strengthen conditions for institutionalizing landscape conservation in Central India and the Sundarbans.

The COP will provide vision, leadership, planning and coordination for the project, and will serve as the primary representative of the project, coordinating with the funding agency, as well as other partners, stakeholders, and Government of India counterparts, and other relevant projects/ initiatives.
