• Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program.
• Critical thinking, time management skill, initiative, and attention to detail. Drive to see projects to completion.
• Strong communication skills by email, video call, and direct message.
• Dedication to equity, inclusivity, and social justice.
• Experience with Google Sheets or other spreadsheet software, including working with functions like VLOOKUP() or INDEX(MATCH()).
• Experience with either Python or GIS, preferably both.
• Ability to work 20 hours per week September-December 2023 with a possibility of extension through August 2024. Hours are flexible between 9am and 6pm, Monday-Friday.

Experience• Experience working at a global organization. • Experience with monitoring and evaluations, impact assessment, organization-wide recordkeeping, or similar. • Experience with geospatial analysis in Python using geopandas, shapely, etc. • Experience with OpenStreetMap • Data visualization skills. • Proficiency in Spanish, Chinese, or Portuguese a plus. • Ability to work in ITDP’s Washington, D.C. office.
SalaryThe Transport Data Intern will work 20 hours per week and receive a weekly $400 stipend.
