1. Completion of a Ph.D. in Transport Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields.
2. Research experience in motorway operations, traffic management, network optimization, and transport modelling.
3. Advanced proficiency in traffic simulation tools (e.g., Aimsun, SUMO) and coding (e.g., Python).
4. Knowledge of optimization techniques for traffic control.
5. Experience in delivering externally funded research projects and writing competitive grant applications.
6. Strong publication record in high-impact journals.
7. Excellent organizational and time management skills.

ExperienceRelevant academic and industry experience in transport operations and control.
Salary$94,453 to $128,163 per annum (inclusive of salary, superannuation, and leave loading).
