Organisation Details
CTCL is a government-owned special purpose vehicle under the Thooimai Mission, aimed at strengthening sustainable solid waste management across urban and rural Tamil Nadu. The organization supports strategic planning, infrastructure development, capacity building, and policy reform aligned with SBM-U 2.0 and Tamil Nadu’s environmental goals.
Job Description
As an Infrastructure Planner with CTCL’s Policy Design Cell, your role will involve:
1. Developing policy briefs, whitepapers, and SOPs across various waste categories
2. Conducting feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for infrastructure implementation
3. Designing spatially integrated waste management strategies and monitoring protocols
4. Preparing budgets and master plans for SWM infrastructure in ULBs and RLBs
5. Supporting local bodies in infrastructure planning, layout design, and technical documentation
6. Promoting social inclusion strategies through training and NGO partnerships
7. Coordinating and facilitating workshops and policy dissemination events
8. Collaborating with government departments, industry experts, and private sector players
