Masters in Urban Design, Bachelors in Architecture

As a minimum, being in process of achieving chartered / Incorporated professional status, or equivalent.

Ideally,eally 8+ years professionalexperience.e
• Experience working and managing large projects
• You encourage individuals to pursue technical growth by mentoring and coaching.
• You drive CoP discussions and initiatives
• Support the growth of the planning and consenting capability
• Providing planning advice and support to clients, project managers and colleagues
• Practical working knowledge of the UK planning system and consenting process
• Assisting with or leading on the preparation of consent applications and advising on the planning aspects of complex schemes, which may include Town and Country Planning, Development Consent Order, Transport and Works Act etc
• Extensive experience operating in a global offshoring model
• Prior experience leading teams supporting UK
• Confident in building strong and lasting relationships with experts, at a regional and global level

Experience

Job Description

• Technical lead on Projects shaping and delivering exceptional outcomes for clients.
• Trusted client advisor – experienced in building relationships with Senior Client Team members. Able to understand their needs and drivers, ability to shape and influence outcomes
• Experienced urban designer with relevant masterplanning experience including urban extensions, garden towns/villages and town centre masterplans as well as major infrastructure projects
• Overseeing assessment work done by others in the team
• Experienced in growing teams in India
• Experienced in the production of masterplan/scheme design documents, design/development briefs, design codes, and design and access statements
• Ability to lead by example, working on multi-disciplinary projects, ideally within a consultancy environment
• Highly capable and crafted experience in successful, high-quality bid writing, ability to influence the business with developing relevant communities of practice and further value propositions
• Skilled communicator with experience in facilitating stakeholder and community consultation events
