UNEP’s Climate Change Division, through the Cool Coalition, aims to drive climate-friendly cooling initiatives and enhance urban resilience by incorporating passive cooling and heat resilience strategies across cities in Asia and the Pacific.
Job Description
• Provide technical support to UNEP in accelerating sustainable cooling practices in Asia and the Pacific.
• Develop passive cooling guidelines, knowledge products, tools, and training materials, with recommendations for pilot city projects.
• Coordinate with local and international stakeholders, ensuring the integration of passive cooling measures in city master plans and policies.
• Support capacity building, organize training sessions, and facilitate partnerships for project implementation.
