Skills and Qualifications

• PhD in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Building Technology or related field
• Experience in resilience planning, decision-support systems, building technology or sustainability assessment
• Knowledge of building and/or geographic information systems, data structures or software integration
• Excellent English communication
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Motivation to develop digital solutions for sustainable and climate-resilient built environments

Experience

• Relevant postdoctoral/research experience not quantified
• Multi-institutional project experience is an asset

Salary€3,706 to €5,760 per month

TU Delft is a Dutch technical university. The post sits in the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment and collaborates with research groups in architecture, building technology, structures, materials and flood risk.

Job Description

• Assess integrated construction and renovation strategies
• Translate technologies and pathways into parametric datasets and a structured database
• Develop a user-friendly digital decision-support interface
• Test and validate digital workflows through pilot applications
• Contribute to the AURORA multi-scale assessment framework
• Collaborate with European universities, industry, municipalities and public authorities
