• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Planning, Geography, Transport, Urban Design, or related field
• Chartered membership of Irish Planning Institute and or Royal Town Planning Institute preferred
• Strong understanding of planning policy, regulations, and compliance frameworks
• Excellent written, verbal, and report writing skills
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities
• Ability to develop client-facing proposals and planning documentation

Experience

• Ideally 10+ years of town planning experience within Ireland
• Experience in planning applications, appeals, and infrastructure development
• Experience in maritime area planning is advantageous
• Exposure to oral hearings is preferred
• Proven project management experience in planning projects

• Engage with public and private sector clients and stakeholders
• Provide technical expertise in planning policy and regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and environmental specialists
• Mentor and support junior and graduate staff
