• A total of 5-8 years of experience with at least 4 years of full- time work experience in planning/ designing/research/ implementation of urban transport systems
• Experience of working on city level transport projects like planning for Multi-modal Integration, Last mile connectivity prioritising pedestrianisation, PT and NMV etc., is essential
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of AutoCAD and GIS is required; Knowledge in SPSS or other statistical analysis software will be an advantage
• Strong ability to employ qualitative and quantitative analysis is essential. Should have adequate understanding of the other travel demand modelling/microscopic simulation and other transportation modelling software
• Should be able to plan and administer data collection activities like traffic counts, opinion surveys, house hold surveys, O-D surveys, etc. necessary for urban transport projects.
• Experience in working with public sector organizations and government agencies is desirable
• Ability to present technical information in a clear and concise manner (Reports/ presentations) with good written and spoken English skills
• Proficiency in Kannada is desirable
