• Bachelor’s degree or higher in planning, geography, transport, urban design, or related field
• Chartered Membership of Irish Planning Institute and or Royal Town Planning Institute preferred
• Strong knowledge of planning policy, legislation, and compliance frameworks
• Excellent report writing and communication skills
• Ability to develop client-facing proposals and technical documentation
• Strong leadership and team coordination capability

Experience

• Ideally 10+ years of relevant town planning experience within Ireland
• Experience in planning applications, appeals, and strategic infrastructure development
• Experience in maritime area planning preferred
• Exposure to oral hearings is advantageous
• Proven project management experience for small to mid-sized projects

• Lead and coordinate planning inputs across multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects
• Support business development and growth strategy for planning services in Ireland
• Manage project delivery ensuring quality, timelines, and alignment with client objectives
• Coordinate resources, budgets, and multi-disciplinary teams
• Engage with public and private sector clients and develop project proposals
• Provide technical expertise in planning policy, legislation, and compliance
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and environmental specialists
• Mentor and guide junior and graduate team members
