• Bachelor of Science or Arts degree in Architecture from an accredited program
• Proficiency in Revit and BIM
• Working proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to be on path for architectural licensure in state of residence
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Teamwork, creativity and attention to detail
• Enscape, Rhino, SketchUp, Lumion or related 3D software preferred

Experience

• 0 to 3 years of experience in architectural design or related field
• Applied design experience may include academic projects, internships or previous work

Salary$65,000 to $80,000 annually, dependent on experience and geographic location

GFT is a privately held architecture, engineering and consulting firm with more than 5,000 engineers, planners, architects, inspectors, designers and other professionals working across transportation, water, power and buildings.

Job Description

• Prepare project documents, plans and details
• Gather product information for cost estimating and specifications
• Support studies and technical reports
• Assist with drawings, schedules, elevations, sections, details and specifications
• Implement redline markups and finalise project work
• Prepare 3D visualisations
• Support code evaluation and information gathering
• Assist during construction with submittals, RFIs, sketches and submittal reviews
• Work primarily on public and institutional projects, especially higher education
