Skills and Qualifications

Enrolled at an accredited university for an undergraduate or graduate degree
Current Junior class level standing and above, open to all majors
Preferable pursuing a degree or emphasis in sustainability, environmental studies, or other related field of study
Intermediate understanding of sustainability in the clothing industry
General understanding of Greenwashing (preferred)
General understanding of Circularity in the clothing industry (preferred)
Passion for UNIQLO and the 3 Pillars (People, Planet, Society)
Strong leadership experience and work ethic, self-starter and independent
Effective communication skills using company platforms, including Microsoft Outlook, Google Suite, etc.

Experience

Salary $19/hour, around 30 hours a week, 4 days a week on-site (some weekends required)

The UNIQLO sustainability internship offers motivated individuals the chance to learn about sustainability efforts and how People, Planet, and Society are prioritized. Interns gain experience both in-store and at headquarters, involving tasks such as NSO planning, compliance with the RE.UNIQLO program, assisting in community and warehouse duties, and more.
