Skills and Qualifications

• Degree in GIS, Geospatial Science, Environmental Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Strong expertise in ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online
• Experience with Python, ArcPy, FME, SQL, and ModelBuilder
• Knowledge of GIS integration with CAD, BIM, APIs, and databases
• Strong understanding of data governance, metadata, QA QC, and security practices
• Excellent communication and technical documentation skills

Experience

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in geospatial delivery
• Experience leading GIS delivery in environmental, planning, or infrastructure projects
• Experience in UK-based environmental or infrastructure projects preferred
• Experience in team leadership, mentoring, and project coordination

Job Description

• Lead design and delivery of advanced GIS solutions and spatial data systems
• Develop geospatial data models, analytics pipelines, and web GIS applications
• Drive automation using Python, FME, and workflow tools
• Manage enterprise geodatabases including schema, metadata, and versioning
• Integrate GIS with engineering workflows, BIM, and digital systems
• Provide technical leadership and coordinate multidisciplinary teams
• Ensure quality, governance, and compliance with standards
• Support client engagement, proposals, and business development
• Mentor team members and promote best practices in GIS delivery
